As a photographer animals is one of my favourite subjects. I imagine myself to have an ability to get close to the animals without them feeling threatened, that they hardly notice me. Cats and dogs are usually very fond of me (if you count out my parents nowadays diseased deeply disturbed adopted Shetland Sheepdog). When I run in the forest it sometimes happen that foxes play with me as if they were ordinary dogs.
In nature and in well maintained zoological parks I find a strange calm, I guess it's the predator in me, which is now being channelled through the camera.
