Swedish rituals: The Moose March
Swedish rituals: The Moose March.

By the end of summer, before the traditional Swedish moose hunt, moose and man meet - just like in the ancient days, as warriors did before some battles - not as enemies but as friends for a few days of celebration and fellowship.

I slutet av sommaren, innan älgjakten, möts älgar och människor - liksom forntidens krigare gjorde innan vissa fältslag - inte som fiender utan som vänner, för några dagars firande och gemenskap.

A very interesting tradition. I would prefer not to see the animals that are about to be hunted, however. Hunter Cashdollar
