New dragon keepers; Göran and Agneta Grundström. They own the supermarket outside of which the dragon which now has been named "Icarus" (my initial suggestion was to call it "Grrrundström", but, no) shall lie.

Nyblivna drakägare; Göran och Agneta Grundström. De äger ICA kvantum i Kvissleby där draken som nu fått namnet "Icarus" (mitt första förslag var att den skulle heta "Grrrundström", men...) ska ligga.

Before the dragon was transported to Kvissleby it participated with all the other dragons in the inauguration of the seventh Dragon Parade in city Sundsvall. Here Lisa Renander (one of the the founders of the Dragon Parade) interviews Christian Beijer (the artist who once upon a time shaped the city dragons' original form) about the fact that I've totally crashed his design.

One of the best things with these city dragons is that they are a nuisance to some misled culturati - The Guardians of Good Taste (pure good taste has probably never done anything good for humanity; more likely the opposite).
Hell of a pity that our city's symbol is a dragon and not a gnome.

Innan draken fraktades till Kvissleby var det invigning av alla drakarna i årets Drakparad i parken Vängåvan i Sundsvall. Här intervjuar Lisa Renander (en av Drakparadens grundare) Christian Beijer (konstnären som en gång i tiden designade stadsdrakarnas grundutförande) om vad han anser om att jag totalt kvaddat hans design.

En av de trevligaste egenskaperna hos de här stadsdrakarna är att de sticker i ögonen på en del missledda kulturkoftor - den goda smakens bevarare (renodlad god smak har ju egentligen aldrig gjort något gott för mänskligheten; snarare tvärtom).
Förjävla synd att Sundsvall nu har en drake och inte en tomte som stadssymbol bara.
