I find your paintings, sculpture's, and drawings, and though i am sure you have heard this many times prior to me, but i would like t speak with you about one in particular. Red is Dead, the inspiration behind this, i would like t know everything you can tell me, why those colors?, what were they doing?, i need to kow the answers to these questions and even to the ones i cannot ask, for i have seen them.

Reply: The painting Red is Dead can be seen as part of a series of paintings with these three demons/angels, a series which started with the painting They who Change.

The critters appeared in my visions for a while after a trip through the Middle East, and I assumed it all started when I visited the tower tombs of Palmyra in Syria.
