I love the bravery of this man... you see his determination in the eye contact, although the defensive position leaves respect for the beasts power. What a challenge for mankind.

FÖRSTÅR den mannen slåss med en tandpetare mot ett stort monster.....VET hur det känns!!!! Vem tror du vinner mannen eller monstret? Considdering this is refered to as a "martial arts" picture at the top, it strikes me as odd that the man would fight with such a poor posture.. isnt this the first thing any art will teach you? - It does, without doubt, depict bravery and determination, but also suggests a considderable lack of self-controll by the way the weapon is being weilded, and the complete lack of skelital stability in the stance.
I disagree, however, with what Jacob Matters says about the man being in a 'defensive position' - his weight is forward, his weapon raised, his back leg bent and head down - If anything, this is an agressive stance (if rather a poor one) But this could be refering to the old phrase; "Attack is the best form of defence"
